Ellen Degeneres’ record-breaking Oscar selfie in 2014 proved just how important social media can be during the award season.
And it appeared the stars attending the 88th annual Academy Awards on Sunday night were keen to share every moment with their followers as they flocked to Twitter and Instagram to give a glimpse into the amusing moments not aired on screen.
From group selfies and candid couple snaps to light-hearted pictures about the food they managed to eat during and after the ceremony, the stars did not disappoint as the Oscars took place.
